Well, as they say, trust, but verify.  Be smart.  As much as you may like this person, remember that you have just met him or her.  Make an effort to see if information you have been given is true.  However, we caution you that while we can verify that Perry Mason is a lawyer and that he's 45 yrs old, we cannot verify that the person who identified himself to you as being Perry Mason is really that person.  If you haven't seen a photo identification (such as a driver license), you may not know the true identity of that person.  Where personal identifying information is found during the course of our investigation, including age, height, race, such information can help to confirm that person's true identification.

Background Investigation

Generally, this research is conducted without the knowledge or cooperation of the person being investigated, and is done through on-line public and proprietary databases as well as through publicly available documents.  The person being investigated will NOT be aware of any investigation we are conducting.  Because of this, and because we confine our services to comport with various federal and state privacy rules, this type of investigation will not, and cannot, provide a complete picture of the person. 

The background investigation will provide you with information pertaining to the person, such as:

• Identities of related persons, including apparent ex-spouses

• Criminal convictions (subject to the availability and limitations of reporting jurisdictions and data sources), including sex offender registry status

Note that all information researched is subject to availability and reporting and/or indexing errors by reporting jurisdiction and/or information and data gathering and data aggregating organizations.
