Locate Heirs / Legatees / Witnesses

With the continued proliferation of "people finder" online data sources, you have probably tried to do much of the work of identifying and locating heirs, legatees and witnesses on your own. Sometimes it's easy to do.  But all too often, you'll find that you or your staff members are spending an inordinate amount of time combing through commercial databases for which you pay ever increasing fees only to find information that is unclear, stale, or just plain wrong. 

Identifying and locating the exact person you're looking for amongst all the same named individuals found on online databases can be confusing and costly.  As commercial data aggregators continue to add information and cross-indexing abilities to their databases, information becomes intermingled, further complicating your search and increasing the amount of time and the costs you spend on these searches.

We have been using public and proprietary online databases since their inception.  Sorting through the huge amount of information now available requires a thorough understanding of the methods by which information providers gather and present their information.  We maintain online accounts with hundreds of data sources.  We have clearance and approvals to access restricted and monitored data sources that you may not be able to access on your own.   Plus, we have a nationwide and international network of professional and experienced document retrievers, abstractors and investigators to do the follow-up and confirmation work necessary.

Asset Location / Liquidation

Even before an estate is filed or a legal representative is appoited, we can search for assets, including real estate, chattel property, business interests, motor vehicles, boats, aircraft as well as assets that are often overlooked, such as patents and trademarks.

Once a legal representative for an estate has been appointed, we can access addtional sources for information, including the decedent's consumer credit report.  We can help confirm bank accounts and brokerage accounts.  We can even accompany the legal representative and assist in closing and liquidating the decedent's accounts.
